Our Founder
Turgut AĞAR
Having studied economics and law, Turgut Ağar has worked in all different fields of translation industry including simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, particularly written translation on law, economy, etc. for over 40 years. After working at various translation companies, he founded Uluslararası Dil Hizmetleri Tercümanlık ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti., where he still works, in 1987. In addition to being a translator, he became an educator, researcher, and animal rights activist over the years. He conducted research, gave seminars, attended panels, and prepared research reports and published some of them, within and outside of the institution of university.
Our Translators
Esra REİS
She completed her bachelor degree at the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Istanbul University. Having done her internship at our firm, she started working with us as a translator in 2006.
Can AĞAR
He completed his bachelor degree at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yıldız Teknik University. Having done his internship at our firm, he started working with us as a translator in 2008.
Özgür Gürkan ERDEM
He completed his bachelor degree at the Department of Management at Boğaziçi University in 2000. He lived in Germany between 2003 and 2005 to continue his higher education. He received his engineering diploma from the Department of Industry Engineering at İstanbul Teknik University in January 2020 upon submitting his bachelor thesis titled “Analysis of Technology Trends Based on Patent Databases Using Text Mining Techniques”. He provides translation services in English and German especially in the areas of patent, law, medicine, and pharmaceutics since 2005.
Murat KÖKSAL
He completed his education at Naval Academy between 1983 and 1987. From 1987 to 1990 he worked as Executive Engineer, Electric and Electronic Officer, and Damage Control Officer in different ships of Turkish Navy. He works with us as English medical and technical translator since 1990.
Remziye ALPARSLAN
She completed her bachelor degree at the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Istanbul University. She did her internship at our firm in the fields of medical and legal translation. She started working with us as a translator in 2011.
Itır Merve KÖSTEKLİ
She completed her bachelor degree at the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Istanbul University. She did her internship at our firm in the field of legal translation. She started working with us as a translator in 2014.
Rukiye DENİZ
She completed her bachelor degree at the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at Istanbul University and her master’s degree at the Department of International Relations at Istanbul Medeniyet University. She took on different roles in civil society sector. She started working with us as a translator in 2019.
Yusuf Yavuzkan
He earned his master’s degree on African Studies at Ankara Sosyal Bilimler University after completing his bachelor in Economics at Ankara University. With over 20 years’ experience in translation, he took part in many translation, simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and localization projects in different fields including in particular European Union projects. He started working with us as a translator in 2017.
Sami Kart
He studied in the Turkish Military Academy and at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Middle East Technical University, the Faculty of Law at Dokuz Eylül University, and Italian Language and Literature at Messina University. He served as a helicopter pilot in the Turkish Armed Forces between 1990 and 1999. After leaving the army, he went to Italy and worked as a Production Engineer for 13 years in Fiat/Turin. He is a sworn translator in technical and legal issues in Italian and English.

She has been responsible for administrative affairs in our company since 2014.
